Pictures of the Westminster Highway Construction

Westminster Highway in Richmond has a newly constructed shared use path between McMillan Way and Nelson Road.

The shared use path will benefit cyclists commuting to and from Richmond because a lot of trucks use that route. It’s now safer for cycling and walking.

I’ve taken pictures of the construction on August 27 from the bus.

This video shows what Westminster Highway looked like before the construction. Starting at 6:20, you’ll see McMillan Way.

The following two videos show you what the newly constructed shared use path look like. Notice that there’s more space for cycling. It’s now much more comfortable to cycle there.
